Position Summary:

Woodgrain is looking for a National Accounts Director to join our team in our Fruitland, ID Corporate office. This person will develop national and regional programs, provide sales management and marketing support, lead and support the field sales teams selling building materials and millwork products and assists the sales team with driving the company’s priorities and strategic initiatives. Other responsibilities include:

  • Conduct detailed discovery to understand the accounts business strategies, needs, objectives and to determine the ways in which Woodgrain/Huttig can add unique value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer key influencers and decision makers at the corporate, regional and local levels.
  • Travels throughout the region calling on assigned national account customers, soliciting programs and new business.
  • Development of programs to support growth and profitability of all Woodgrain/Huttig products
  • Prepares annual sales budget for respective national accounts with guidance from VP of National Accounts

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Substantial knowledge, understanding, and positive results within sales
  • Ability to effectively develop and present presentations responding to questions from multiple sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
